BaOmar Oilfield Services Co. , an Omani Company consisting of hands-on experienced personnel from the oil industry was established in 2009. It specializes in Workover operations and other well maintenance activities. In 2012 a 6 year (+2 years) service contract was signed with Petroleum Development Oman for the provision of Workover Rig Services in South Oman. Operations started from Feb 2013 and now the work is being executed with 3 Workover Rigs in Marmul area of South Oman. During the first year BaOmar Oilfield Services Co. has demonstrated high level of excellence in operational and HSE performances, in accordance with PDO (Shell) requirements
