Job description
 Lead, oversee and train the Finance & Accounting Operations teams to develop and maintain
accounting principles, records practices and procedures and submit accurate and timely
financial statements and reports.
 Obtain and maintain a thorough understanding of the financial reporting and general ledger
structure.
 Identify the strategies and set the direction for the team of accounting specialists.
 Be responsible to ensure that work is properly allocated and completed in a timely and accurate
manner.
 Provide training and development to staff Handle personnel issues relating to staff conflicts,
absenteeism and performance issues.
 Work with direct reports to establish goals and objectives for each year and monitor and advise
on the progress to enhance the professional development of staff.
 Review all month-end closing activities including general ledger maintenance, balance sheet
reconciliations, and corporate/overhead cost allocation.
 Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year-end close reports.
 Ensure that all financial and regulatory reporting deadlines are met.
 Serve as a key point of contact for external auditors.
 Manage the organization for the preparation and support of all external audits.
 Ensure the accurate and timely processing of disbursements.
 Manage the budget and forecasting activities of the company, providing accurate and timely
information to the EXECOM.
 Ensure timely and efficient collection of revenue and due payment of obligations.
 Develop, maintain, and analyze budgets, preparing periodic reports that compare budgeted
costs to actual costs.
 Assist in development and implementation of new procedures and features to enhance the
workflow of the department.

 Collaborate with the accounting department managers, business unit heads, and the EXECOM to
drive overall department/company goals and objectives.
