- Production and maintenance of annual budgets and cash flows.
- Production of monthly finance management reports for the Board.
- Administration of expense and Gift Aid claims.
- Maintenance of computerised general ledger, cashbook, and cash flows.
- Monthly bank reconciliation bank with general ledger and donations database.
- Control of payroll and liaison with payroll agency.
- Maintaining the donor database to ensure accurate financials can be produced.
- Ensuring all financials, including donor information, are compliant with UK company and charity law and all statutory reporting requirements are being met.
- Supporting senior staff in the development of funding proposals.
- Supporting the London office with some basic office management activities that free other staff to focus on policy, advocacy, and campaigning work.
- Certified Public Accountant
- At least 3 years work experience in accounting, finance, and audit
- Has leadership potential, willing to do fieldwork
- Has good communication skills, verbal and written
- Excellent skill in Microsoft Excel
