Job Description

This position is for a graphics and webdesign specialist who will be responsible for delivering professional web sites with exceptional user experience. These sites will be based on documented requirements and industry standard best practices must be employed. The role also requires substantial knowledge of, Photoshop, Illustrator, Fireworks, UX/UI, web standards and trends, HTML(5), CSS(3), JavaScript and JQuery as it pertains to the layout and branding of web pages. This role does not require knowledge of .Net or server-side web development technologies.

New hires will be provided advanced training in best practice methodology and skills training to achieve the targets.

Responsibilities

• Work among a team of Marketing and IT professionals.
• Develop design concepts and solutions based on creative briefs, brand guides and corporate business strategies.
• Produce design concept and standards for intranet and internet websites and mobile sites.
• Create HTML versions of web designs with full CSS, JavaScript, and HTML/HTML5.
• Analyze business requirements to understand design needs.
• Write design briefs, style guides, and design specification documents

Qualifications

• While entry is open to non-graduates, preference will be given to those with relevant degrees.
• Must be proficient in Adobe PhotoShop, Macromedia Dreamweaver, Web Design, CSS and HTML.
• Additional advantage if understands basic JQuery, JavaScript and PHP.
