Job Description

Recruitment, Selection and Placement

  • Receives applications and sends out a standard acknowledgement letter to each applicant.
  • Notifies short-listed applications about scheduled interview and tests.
  • Administers tests and submits results to the HR Supervisor for interpretation.
  • Ensures newly hired employees submit required documents such as transcript of record, copy of the diploma, police clearance, and reference letters.
  • Assists newly hired employee in accomplishing the personal data sheet, bank account application form, health insurance form, income tax form and other employment forms.
  • Schedules induction of new employees by the HR Supervisor and the new employee’s immediate superior.

 

HR Operations, Salary and Benefits Administration

  • Records absences, lateness, under time and overtime to ensure that appropriate deduction are applied.
  • Updates leave taking records to ensure that staff take and are able to take the leave that is due to them.
  • Facilitates membership enrolment of employees with the appropriate government agencies.
  • Prepares and submits on time all required forms and reports to the appropriate government agencies (i.e. BIR, HDMF, SSS, PHIC).
  • Processes maternity, sickness and loan benefits of employees with the appropriate government agencies.
  • Facilitates application and termination of staff insurance.

 

 

 

  • Schedules annual physical examination of employees.
  • Provides appropriate forms to employees upon request.
  • Prepares government certifications required for medical needs of the staff (PHIC Certification, SSS Sickness and Maternity Notification, SSS Sickness and Maternity Reimbursement).
  • Performs other related duties that maybe assigned by the HR Supervisor from time to time.

 

Learning and Development

  • Disseminates training schedule and program to appropriate employees including pre-course materials.
  • Registers and confirms attendance of participants.
  • Manages the logistical requirements of the training such training supplies, booking of venues, accommodation, equipment, catering arrangements, accommodation and transportation including set-up before and after the event.
  • Monitors attendance of training participants during the training period.
  • Prepares certificates.
  • Consolidates post-training evaluation results and prepares and submits evaluation report to the HR Officer.
  • Prepares all training materials and handouts.
