Job Description

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 Conduct necessary legal researches.
 Assist in the review and revision of company policies endorsed to HR Department.
 Assist the HR Manager with employment-related documents, including employment agreements and separation agreements.
 Assist with the management of HMC conflicts of interest process, including rolling out annual conflicts of interest form and maintaining records related to employment concern.
 Support the implementation of company compliance-related training.
 Provide guidance and support to the Human Resources Department on legal matters.
 Conduct research on legislative development in the employment law and compliance areas.
 Attend court hearings, conferences and meetings as permitted by law.
 Coordinate with government agencies for DOLE compliance related matters.
 Represent the Human Resource Department in internal meetings and prepare minutes of the meeting.
 Assist in providing seminars. Lectures and updates to management and/or employees on relevant laws and other government rules and regulations affecting the company.
 Attend the legal queries in the absence of the HR Manager.
 Monitor the renewal, expiration and extensions of the contracts.
 Perform other special projects that may be given by the HR Manager from time to time.

QUALIFICATIONS:

With at least 2nd year in College of Law
 May or may not have working experience
 Must be proficient in labor, commercial and corporate law
 Can work in multi – tasking environment
 Excellent oral and written communication and organization skills
 Must be keen on details, meticulous and can manage time well
 Has good interpersonal skills, a team player and knowledgeable in various MS Office system applications
