DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Conduct necessary legal researches.
Assist in the review and revision of company policies endorsed to HR Department.
Assist the HR Manager with employment-related documents, including employment agreements and separation agreements.
Assist with the management of HMC conflicts of interest process, including rolling out annual conflicts of interest form and maintaining records related to employment concern.
Support the implementation of company compliance-related training.
Provide guidance and support to the Human Resources Department on legal matters.
Conduct research on legislative development in the employment law and compliance areas.
Attend court hearings, conferences and meetings as permitted by law.
Coordinate with government agencies for DOLE compliance related matters.
Represent the Human Resource Department in internal meetings and prepare minutes of the meeting.
Assist in providing seminars. Lectures and updates to management and/or employees on relevant laws and other government rules and regulations affecting the company.
Attend the legal queries in the absence of the HR Manager.
Monitor the renewal, expiration and extensions of the contracts.
Perform other special projects that may be given by the HR Manager from time to time.
With at least 2nd year in College of Law
May or may not have working experience
Must be proficient in labor, commercial and corporate law
Can work in multi – tasking environment
Excellent oral and written communication and organization skills
Must be keen on details, meticulous and can manage time well
Has good interpersonal skills, a team player and knowledgeable in various MS Office system applications
