Must possess knowledge of health care practices, procedures, and professional standards of care as set by federal and state regulations, as well as Medicare regulations.

• At least one 2 years work experience, preferably in a similar field.

• Basic knowledge of medical terminology and ICD-10/CPT- 4 coding.

• Ability to enter 400-500 claims per week.

• Excellent command of the English language, both written and oral.

• Ability to communicate effectively with an account manager regarding any missing/incomplete information and follow up until received.

• Commitment to maintain and protect confidential information.

• Ability to work with minimal oversight and direction.

• Ability to multi-task and work courteously and respectfully with fellow employees, clients, and patients.

• Must have strong computer skills.

• Must have strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Must be resourceful, creative, innovative, highly detailed, organized and focused.

• Must be results-driven to achieve objectives.
