Job Description
- Duties and responsibiites
- Provide healthcare to students and staff
- Perform health screening
- Identifying and managing student’s health concerns so they are ready to learn
- Providing a safe school environment to students
- Developing plans for student care based on assessment, interventions, and identification of outcomes, and evaluation of care
- Providing health-related education to students and staff in both individual and group settings
- Providing and/ or delegating services including first aid, care for ill students and emergency care to students and staff
- Administering and monitoring effectiveness of medications given at school
- Maintaining confidentiality regarding all school and health – related issues
- Maintaining communication with administrators, teachers and other school personnel, and parents to enhance cooperative action, which will meet the health and safety needs of students
- Maintaining confidentiality regarding all school and health – related issues
- Job Specifications:
Education/ Experience: Bachelor’s/ College Degree in Nursing
Experience: At least 1 year experience being a Nurse
Lincensure: Registered Nurse ( Profession Regulation Commission)
Certification: N/A
