Job Description

  • Greet customers warmly and direct them to their tables
  • Present menu and provide detailed information when asked
  • Prepare tables by setting up linens, silverware and glasses
  • Up sell additional products when appropriate
  • Take accurate food and drinks orders
  • Check dishes and kitchenware prior to serving with the customers
  • Carry dirty plates, glasses and silverware to kitchen for cleaning
  • Follow all relevant health department regulations
  • Provide excellent customer service to guests
  • Serve food and drink orders
  • Maintain a tidy dining area
  • Respond to customer’s request for extras according to company policies and ensure that any complaints are properly managed aimed at customer retention
  • Make suggestions on what to order and provide information of available deals
